Gas RC planes are sometimes also referred to as “glow plug”, nitro, and IC. These planes are the most popular when it comes to radio controlled flying. Many people prefer these planes to any others that are available. Most of the planes that can be found at a general airplane or hobby club are gas RC aircrafts, however, apparently electric planes are quickly catching up as these are becoming very popular too these days. People don’t normally know about the different types of planes unless they are expert at flying them, they don’t usually know which is better and which not to go for. This is why they need help when choosing their first plane.

These days, it seems as though these planes are the easiest ones to fly, even though they might sound rather complicated. If they are not the easiest, they are definitely easier to fly then they were before. It has not always been this way, when these planes first came out they were a lot harder to maneuver! Two of the planes that are easy to fly that fall under this category would be the Alpha Trainer and NexStar Select 46 among many more. Both of these planes have proven to be very popular indeed, part of the reason for this might be the fact that they both come equipped with simulation software so that you can see what you need before you put your new baby in the air.

When it comes to one of the best gas RC planes, the NexStar, it is equipped with many great features and all of these are designed to help the ground pilot fly the plane easily and safely. Both of the above mentioned gas RC model planes have very stable flying abilities, and this is exactly what you need in a plane when you are just learning about your new found hobby. You don’t want a fast plane that might lure you away from the interest of planes, these little gas planes are great to have for a first-time flyer.

Gas remote control planes are just as wonderful as these, you might fin it slightly harder to control than the RC one, but when it comes to this everyone is different. Some people find the radio controlled planes to be easier to handle than the remote controlled ones, while others will have it the other way around. So if you are trying to determine what is best for you, the only way you will know is to try them both out and decide for yourself. Each has the features and characteristics that make them easier or more difficult and something of that might just be your weakness, otherwise the area in which you are most skilled.

Gas RC planes are the way to go, even if you are not a beginner, there are planes in this category that offer a little more than a beginner plane does. You just have to access your level of skill and then choose a plane accordingly.
