As possibilities broaden, Microsoft can promote many awesome functions online, for example Twitter, Sky and Netfix. Microsoft are building on the chance to access retro games online by developing their new Xbox 360 virtual arcade. The intention is to re-introduce certain games which many veteran and nostalgic gameplayers would like to play again. Whilst many of those games may appear simplistic or even comical to the customers of today, Microsoft believe that many are still awesome games worth trying out.
Examples of the games planned for this feature include such gems as Rocket Knight, Centipede, Streets of Rage and also fan fave Asteroids. These games will mean absolutely everything to those players who grew up with them, and supply a decent alternative to the bigger games of the day. The Xbox 360 virtual arcade also offers gamers their own interactive arcade home. When a player buys one of these classic games, they can position it anywhere in their arcade, and they also appear in the retro arcade cabinets!
Finally, Microsoft’s new outlet is ful ly interactive, so gameplayers can invite their buddies to enter and play in theirown arcade. Voice chat is supported along with avatars, leaderboards, multiplayer features and more. In return foryour Microsoft points you can craft your own New Xbox 360 Virtual Arcade, and sample some retro games with your pals!
